Our History
The Story of Our House
Located at 26 Avenue Durante, facing the Nice train station, the Hotel Interlaken occupies a historic building from 1870 built for Baroness Delphine Alziary de Malausséna. This heritage bears witness to the charm of the Belle Époque.
In 1889, the residence became a hotel, then adopted the name Hotel d'Interlaken in 1892. Archives under the name Hotel Interlaken and Provence highlight its proximity to the railway station and its constant year-round opening.
A Family Tradition
Four generations of enthusiasts have followed one another. Initiated by Ange and his partner, management passed to Roger and Jeanne, then to Franck and Stéphanie. Now, Yannick and Lisa-May continue this legacy.
The essence of our house remains: to offer an authentic, friendly, and attentive welcome in the heart of downtown Nice.
